The Grote log end slicer slices meat log butt ends to recover usable product, increasing yield and eliminating rework and manual slicing. It slices up to 90 strokes/min per lane and is programmable to discard caps or slice through entire log ends.

The log end slicer’s auto-loading system feeds log ends to the slicer, where they are weighed down for consistent slicing by Grote’s patented AccuBand disposable band blades. The slicer’s modular, offline design allows for easy integration into slicing operations.
