Conagra Names New Business Segment President

Industry veteran Chaly Jo Moyen has assumed the leadership of the company’s foodservice & international business segment.

Conagra Brands has appointed Chaly Jo Moyen as chief strategy officer and president, foodservice & international. As Conagra’s chief strategy officer, Moyen will play a central role creating, executing, and sustaining the organization’s strategic initiatives. In addition, she will be responsible for Conagra’s international business segment, bringing the company’s brands to consumers outside the U.S., as well as facilitating the foodservice division in the distribution of its products to restaurants, retailers, commercial customers, and other foodservice suppliers.

Moyen joins Conagra following more than 15 years at the Coca-Cola Company, where she most recently served as senior vice president of strategy, decision science, and insights for Coca-Cola North America. In that role, she led enterprise business strategy development and the advancement of data and analytics across all the company’s North American business units. While at the Coca-Cola Company, Moyen also served as vice president, business development for USA operations; vice president, business development for North America Still Brands; and vice president, global marketing and innovation in the foodservice division. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Moyen worked in brand management for Procter & Gamble in Europe.

Moyen earned a master of science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s of arts degree from the University of Georgia Honors Program.

The Processing Zone Returns to PACK EXPO

As a direct response to industry demands, The Processing Zone is returning to PACK EXPO Las Vegas and Healthcare Packaging EXPO (Sept. 27-29, 2021, Las Vegas Convention Center). The show will showcase front-of-line solutions from food processing/systems, food safety, engineering, design and construction services and more, according to show producer, PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. It will also offer targeted education via its processing-dedicated Innovation Stage.
