Michigan site to process state milk surplus

Greenville Venture Partners, a subsidiary of Foremost Farms USA Cooperative, has announced plans to build a 55,000-sq.-ft. dairy processing facility in the city of Greenville, MI to process the current surplus milk supply in Michigan. Pending approvals of state and local incentives, the $57.9 million project is projected to create 33 jobs.

A farmer-owned milk processing and marketing cooperative headquartered in Baraboo, WI, Foremost Farms has approximately 1,500 members and generates annual sales of $1.5 billion.
