Taylor Farms Achieves Industry First Sustainability Milestones

Three facilities now Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) platinum zero waste certified and more than 90% energy independent

Taylor Farms has received the U.S. Green Building Council TRUE platinum zero waste certification at three facilities in Monterey County, California, while simultaneously achieving 90% energy independence from the utility grid. In two years, the sites have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 175,000 metric tons and diverted over 95% of materials from the environment, incinerators, and landfills. Taylor Farms has pledged to roll out zero waste programs nationally.
