Dot Foods Opens New Distribution Center

Site will help nation’s largest food industry redistributor deliver products in less-than-truckload quantities to customers in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut

Dot Foods has opened a new 188,000-sq-ft, $37 million site, which includes offices; dry, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse space; and a truck yard and garage to service the company’s fleet, in Bear, Delaware. The facility has created 88 new positions and is expected to hire a total of 200 people by 2022.

Dot Foods carries 134,000 products from 1,000 food industry manufacturers. With sales amounting to $8.1 billion in 2019, it ranks 67th on Forbes list of America’s Largest Private Companies.
