Inliners Unlimited (Monroe, LA) has introduced a valve to be used with barrier liners as a low-cost way to control gases in drums, pails, boxes or IBCs.

Can be used as a vacuum, to introduce a product-specific atmosphere, or to gas- flush a product within a sealed package. The LLDPE valve consists of four pieces, including an adapter that easily attaches to a gas line. A wide range of liners are available, including foil and metallized polyester, paper laminates and coextrusions.
