Bericap : Scavenging bottle closure

Bericap (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) has developed BO2S closures for plastic beer bottles. Taste tests show that there is very little difference in quality perceptions between beer in glass bottles with metal crown closures and the same beer in barrier PET bottles with the Bericap closures, even after 9 mos, because of their unique compound barrier and oxygen scavenger features, company says.
