Ramon Laguarta, incoming PepsiCo chairman of the board

PepsiCo, Inc.’s board of directors has unanimously elected company CEO Ramon Laguarta as chairman, effective February 1. Laguarta will succeed current Chairman Indra K. Nooyi, who stepped down as PepsiCo CEO on October 3. Laguarta will be the sixth chairman and CEO in PepsiCo’s 53-year history.
