SLIPNOT, a distributor in durable, high-performance slip-resistant surface technologies, announced today that its Amstep Products (Amstep) portfolio of slip-resistant safety treads and nosing solutions for staircases is expanding. Amstep has acquired the metal stair tread nosings line from Nystrom, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of commercial building products serving architects, contractors and building owners.
The metal stair tread nosings, including products such as Ribbed Abrasive, EcoTread, Two-Stage / Two-Part and Photoluminescent products, will strengthen Amstep’s comprehensive portfolio of engineered slip-resistant solutions and expand stair safety across industries including healthcare, commercial, industrial, retail, municipal, institutional and marine throughout North America.
