Mexico-based pasta maker opens $50 million plant in Texas

Production facility to serve as US headquarters

Mexico’s largest pasta manufacturer La Moderna has opened its first US plant—a $50 million, 150,000-square-foot state-of-the-art production, manufacturing and distribution facility in Cleburne, Texas. Sitting on 16.5 acres, the plant has created 100 new jobs and is expected to produce approximately 4,000 tons of pasta a month.
