Silgan Equipment vision systems conduct 360-degree inspections of full-body, shrink sleeve-labeled products, as well as products with standard wraparound labels. The 51R84 vision system has four GigE cameras that inspect labels at speeds up to 800 containers per min and process the images using Windows 10 software. The 51R85 model includes a fifth camera that inspects container necks for cocked caps and damaged tamper-evident bands. The system’s vision tunnel is mounted on a stand that fits over an existing conveyor.
