Kraft Heinz is launching NotHotDogs and NotSausages, the first ever plant-based Oscar Mayer products and the first plant-based meat creation from a collaboration between Kraft Heinz and TheNotCompany (NotCo). The Kraft Heinz Not Company’s Oscar Mayer NotHotDogs and NotSausages aim to offer the savory and smoky experience that Oscar Mayer fans have known more than 140 years.
The United States plant-based market is projected to increase from $8.3 billion in 2023 to $19 billion by 2030, according to a report by Research and Markets, which also notes that plant-based hot dogs and dinner sausage links remain under-consumed within the broader plant-based meat category, largely due to existing offerings’ taste and texture. With Oscar Mayer NotHotDogs and Italian and Bratwurst-flavored NotSausages, the Kraft Heinz Not Company seeks to deliver on these needs and consumers’ evolving preference in the plant-based space.
