Size reduction equipment manufacturer Pulva Corp., Valencia, PA, has unveiled its largest pulverizer. Designed to thrive in high volume, high throughput operations, the Model F Pulva-SizerTM hammer mill features a 300 HP drive motor, oversized infeed hopper, choice of hammer configurations, and optional air-assisted discharge, all in a reinforced steel housing that safely withstands demanding, continuous production environments. The high capacity hammer mill automatically grinds dry, wet, fibrous, moderately abrasive, and other bulk materials down to a required particle size distribution at a target throughput rate while also providing the same precise control over the particle size distribution as the company's smaller Pulva-Sizer models.
Suitable for grinding limestone, pigments, grains, spices, sugar, specialty chemicals, and a wide range of tough, recyclable products at scale, the Pulva-Sizer Model F is fully accessible with a removable cover, liner, and screen assembly for safe, easy maintenance and wear part replacement with minimal line downtime. The Pulva-Sizer Model F is the largest of six standard impact pulverizers and may be customized with quad feed screws, magnetic separators, stainless steel construction and other optional equipment.
The Pulva-Sizer grinding technology may be tested using full-size, fully operating machines at the company's on-site testing laboratory.
