Designed according to the gravimetric method and international Pharmacopoeia standards, the C860M is ideal for determining residue on ignition and ash content in pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical packaging materials, foods, food contact materials, and chemical reagents. The system provides laboratories with a faster, safer, and more reliable alternative to traditional manual testing methods.

The C860M integrates a muffle furnace, desiccator, and analytical balance into a single compact instrument, eliminating the need for multiple pieces of equipment and reducing manual sample handling. At the heart of the system is Labthink's latest fully automatic robotic gripper, capable of simulating human hand movements to transfer and weigh up to 16 test cups automatically. This innovative automation improves testing efficiency while minimizing operator variability.

To ensure maximum weighing accuracy, the C860M features a dual-separate-chamber design that isolates the ignition and weighing processes, preventing heat and humidity from influencing measurement results. A rapid liquid cooling system further enhances productivity by allowing samples to be weighed at room temperature immediately after ignition.

Designed with laboratory safety and convenience in mind, the system includes an independent electrical control system, multiple intelligent sensors with audible and visual alerts, and a medical-grade touchscreen interface that enables standalone operation without requiring an external computer. The self-calibrating analytical balance can also be quickly removed for convenient verification and maintenance.

The C860M is built for modern digital laboratories. An integrated network port supports remote operation, software upgrades, and system management, while professional software provides complete data traceability to meet GMP requirements. Electronic signature functionality complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, making the instrument well suited for highly regulated pharmaceutical and quality control environments.
